Quilting Classes

Addie's has a large and well-equipped classroom for its quilting classes.

The Beginner Series is outstanding. We have created a series of small quilts with progressive learning in each (Quilt Beginning & The Next Step).

All of our classes, apart from the Beginner Series, require that you have the skills taught in the Beginner Series.

Please make certain that your sewing machine is in excellent working condition, and that you are familiar with all of its functions.

Students registered in Addie's classes receive a 15% discount on all class supplies.

Quilt Beginnings
Designed especially for the "newbie to quilting". You will learn accurate cutting using a rotary cutter adn ruler, sewing with a scant 1/4" seam allowance, simple quilting and binging application

The Next Step
Add to your new skills by making half-square triangles and setting them into a beautiful table runner. Finish it off with a double border and a review of quilting and binding techniques.

Applique Beginnings
We will explore 5 different methods of hand applique during the course of completing this beautiful quilt.

Machine Applique
Hard work not your cup of tea? We will guide you through the techniques of exquisite machine applique.
