Short Row Toque

The students will be required to cast on and create the ribbing at the bottom of the hat before the first class.  In the first class, we will work on our short row technique and create the first of the patterning, going over how to transition from one colour to the other.  If there is interest, we can look at how to knit backwards, negating the need to turn your work.

In the second class, we will finish up by shaping the crown of the hat and using double pointed needles or performing the magic loop.  If review of the short rows is required, there will be time for this during the class.

Sample made with Drops Karisma yarn (one 50g ball of each colour).
