Quilt as You Go "Between the Blocks"- an overview of techniques and requirements


Prerequisite for this class is at least 2 completed quilted blocks approximately 12 inches square. It will appeal to those who have taken Quilt beginnings next steps 1 or 2 and need a refresher, those who have started down the Quilt as You go path, and need some practical guidance, and those who want to make a quilt of repeating 12 inch squares. Topics include planning your quilt and review of fabric requirements and basic techniques and options. It is a demo class only.


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Attendees must be comfortable with their machines, and basic piecing techniques
Materials Included: block patterns
Requirements: Completion of a basic quilting course or equivalent skills Students must be comfortable using a rotary cutter and mat, and sewing a quarter inch seam. Machines must be in good working order.
