Christmas Club- January-March: Snowman applique, Homespun square wall hanging/lap quilt, Fancy Holly Table runner.
This group meets in the afternoon on the third Sunday of the month (adjusted for holidays) to work on stitching projects with a Christmas theme. The club will run for the entire year, and is organized into 4 3 hour sessions starting at 1:30 (Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec). Participants will learn a variety of stitching and quilting techniques.
Each project will be available as a kit, and patterns must be purchased- either for the entire year, or at each class. Class attendees are encouraged to purchase the entire book at the first class. Please contact the store for details.
- The January18th project: "Visions of snowmen is an applique project that can be completed as a quilt (approx. 67"*90") or a table runner (approx. 36"*15"). Estimated kit cost for top only ($20)
- February's project(Feb 22 to accommodate the family day weekend) includes three pieced blocks and can be completed as a 36" or 60" square wall hanging or quilt. (kit for smaller square top estimated at $40-$50)
- March 15 project, called Fancy Holly Table Runner is approximately 33'*15" and combines a variety of piecing, applique and border techniques.(kit details to follow)

| Skill Details: | Participants will learn tips and tricks to improve basic cutting and piecing skills learned in previous classes. Instruction will be provided on applique, working with curves, quilting and finishing. |
| Requirements: | Participants must have machines in good working order and competent basic sewing skills. Quilting skills must include working with rotary cutters and rulers, and competent piecing skills. Students must bring machines, cutting tools, and a basic sewing kit to class. Irons, pressing mats and cutting mats will be available |
